Xi Jinping Leaves Beijing for State Visit to the Republic of Kazakhstan and Attendance at 17th Meeting of SCO Council of Heads of State and Opening Ceremony of Astana Expo 2017

On the afternoon of June 7, 2017, at the invitation of President Nursultan Nazarbayev of the Republic of Kazakhstan, President Xi Jinping left Beijing by special plane for his state visit to the Republic of Kazakhstan and attendance at the 17th Meeting of the Council of Heads of State of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) and the Opening Ceremony of Astana Expo 2017.

Members of Xi Jinping's delegation include Member of the Political Bureau of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China (CPC) and Director of the Policy Research Office of the CPC Central Committee Wang Huning, Member of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee, Member of the Secretariat of the CPC Central Committee and Director of the General Office of the CPC Central Committee Li Zhanshu, State Councilor Yang Jiechi and others.
