G20 Foreign Ministers' Meeting Held in Bonn, Germany
—Foreign Minister Wang Yi Attends and Delivers a Speech

From February 16 to 17, 2017 local time, Foreign Minister Wang Yi attended the G20 Foreign Ministers’ meeting in Bonn, Germany, during which he stated China’s principles, stance and propositions centering on the implementation of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development, partnerships towards Africa, maintaining peace amid the complex world as well as other topics.

Wang Yi expressed that in order to implement the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development well, China advocates that the international community should create a peaceful and stable international environment, construct an innovative, interconnected, open and inclusive world economy, call for the concept of shared development, establish a new model of global partnership for development, and integrate the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development into the development strategies of each country. China believes that we should attach equal importance to peace and development, respect the wills of all African countries and take specific measures to support the establishment of partnerships towards Africa. China has been practicing the policy of sincerity, real results, affinity and good faith towards Africa with actual actions.

Wang Yi stressed that always pursuing the path of peaceful development, China is determined to be a defender and constructor of lasting peace in the world, and is willing to, together with the international community, build and share a world of lasting peace and common security based on the idea of a community of shared future for mankind proposed by President Xi Jinping.
