Xi Jinping Sends Message of Condolences to President Mohammad Ashraf Ghani of Afghanistan over the Deadly Terrorist Attack in Afghanistan

On July 24, 2016, President Xi Jinping sent a message to President Mohammad Ashraf Ghani of Afghanistan, extending condolences over the deadly terrorist attack in the country.

Xi Jinping expressed in the message that I am shocked to learn about the serious terrorist attack in Kabul of your country that has caused heavy causalities. On behalf of the Chinese government and people and in my own name, I would like to extend profound condolences to the victims and sincere sympathies to the injured and the bereaved families.

China opposes terrorism of all forms and strongly condemns this grave terrorist attack. China firmly supports the efforts made by the Afghan government and people in fighting against terrorism and safeguarding national security and stability.
