Warsaw in early summer embraces gentle breeze and blossoming flowers. The solemn and elegant Palace Belwederski is for the Polish government to host major activities. Xi Jinping and Andrzej Duda talked about China-Poland traditional friendship together, drawing the grand blueprint for the development of bilateral relations.

Xi Jinping stressed that Poland enjoys profound historical and cultural accumulation, and the two countries conduct close cultural exchanges. The two peoples harbor friendly sentiment towards each other. My goal of this visit is to enhance mutual understanding and trust, promote communication and cooperation in various fields, and deepen bilateral strategic partnership. Poland is an important member state of the European Union (EU) and a leader in Central and Eastern European region. China is willing to work with Poland to promote cooperation between China and the Central and Eastern European countries and the development of China-EU relations.

Xi Jinping pointed out that located in the crossroad of the Eurasian continent, Poland is the intersection of the Amber Road and the Silk Road, boasting a unique location advantage. China welcomes Poland to actively participate in the "Belt and Road" initiative, and is willing to work with Poland to strengthen cooperation within the framework of the construction of the "Belt and Road" initiative, deeply tap cooperation potential in such fields as connectivity and infrastructure construction and work hard for more results. China welcomes Poland to actively participate in the construction of the Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank (AIIB) as a founding member.

Andrzej Duda expressed that he was deeply impressed by the enormous achievements made in China's economic and social development during his successful state visit to China last year. In recent years, Poland-China practical cooperation in various fields has yielded fruitful results. It is believed that President Xi Jinping's visit this time will further enhance the development of Poland-China relations. As a founding member of the AIIB, Poland is ready to actively participate in the construction of the "Belt and Road" initiative and deepen bilateral cooperation in such areas as infrastructure construction, railway and logistics transportation. Maintaining sound cooperative relationship with the Central and Eastern European countries, Poland stands ready to, together with China, promote cooperation between the Central and Eastern European countries and China to achieve greater development.

On that evening, Xi Jinping and Peng Liyuan as well as Andrzej Duda and his wife Agata Kornhauser-Duda jointly watched the splendid show performed by the Mazowsze Folk Song and Dance Ensemble of Poland.

Established in 1948, Mazowsze Folk Song and Dance Ensemble is a famous folk song and dance ensemble in Poland and the Central and Eastern European region. It has visited China six times and made contributions to promoting cultural exchanges between the two countries.
