Xi Jinping Meets with President Vladimir Putin of Russia

On November 30 local time, President Xi Jinping met in Paris with President Vladimir Putin of Russia. Both heads of state exchanged in-depth views on bilateral relations as well as international and regional issues of common concern.

Xi Jinping pointed out that at present, the China-Russia comprehensive strategic partnership of coordination is heading forward in an in-depth way. Frequent meetings between leaders of both countries to enhance communication on bilateral relations and major international and regional issues are very necessary. The Chinese side is willing to make concerted efforts with the Russian side to continuously push for new progress in bilateral cooperation in all areas. The international anti-terrorism situation is undergoing significant changes. China stands ready to strengthen anti-terrorism cooperation with the international community, including Russia, to protect the common interests.

Vladimir Putin agreed on President Xi Jinping's views on Russia-China relations. He said that the current international situation is undergoing complex and profound changes. The Russian side is willing to, together with the Chinese side, boost cooperation in anti-terrorism and other areas, while steadfastly advancing the democratization process of international relations.
