Both sides should tap the potential in economic and trade cooperation and elevate the cooperation level. The Chinese government encourages Chinese enterprises to be actively involved in transportation, mineral products, electric power, information technology and infrastructure construction in Armenia. China will, within the framework of constructing the Silk Road Economic Belt, give full play to its own technology and equipment advantages to explore an appropriate cooperation pattern with Armenia, and hopes Armenia actively promote the cooperation between the Eurasian Economic Union and China. China will continue helping Armenia carry out Chinese teaching and offer more government scholarship for Armenian students who choose to study in China, and stands ready to enhance bilateral exchanges and interaction in culture, press and academia.

Serzh Sargsyan expressed that China is a good friend of Armenia and the exchanges between the two peoples could be traced back to the ancient Silk Road era.
