Li Keqiang Meets with Prime Minister Prayuth Chan-ocha of Thailand

In the morning of October 16 local time, Premier Li Keqiang met with Prime Minister Prayuth Chan-ochaa of Thailand in Milan.

Li Keqiang stated that, no matter how the international landscape and the domestic situation of Thailand evolve, the China-Thailand relations always progress healthily and steadily and the traditional friendship between China and Thailand has never changed. The development of China-Thailand relations not only benefits the two sides, but also brings significant opportunities for promoting development in the region and even in Asia. China is willing to, together with Thailand, maintain high-level exchanges, well implement the consensus and agreements reached by the two sides, comprehensively push forward practical cooperation in such fields as infrastructure including high-speed rail, agricultural products, economy and trade, and finance, and expand people-to-people and cultural and personnel exchanges, so as to make bilateral relations better benefit both peoples.

Prayuth said that, Thailand and China are friendly neighbors and close cooperative partners. Thailand thanks China for its understanding and support, and is willing to learn from China's experience in development, keep closer high-level exchanges with China, implement the consensus on cooperation reached by both sides, continue to promote cooperation projects in agricultural products, high-speed rail and other fields, and expand cooperation in such fields as economy and trade, infrastructure construction and connectivity, so as to continuously boost the development of the Thailand-China relations.
