People-to-people and cultural exchanges in education, tourism and other fields will be expanded, the mutual understanding and friendship will be deepened, and the coordination and cooperation in international and regional affairs will be strengthened.

Li Keqiang noted that China hopes to see a stable, united and prosperous EU. The China-EU relations are standing at an important stage of improving the quality and efficiency, and China hopes that Italy could continuously play a constructive role in the development of China-EU relations. China supports Italy in well-organizing the 10th Asia-Europe Meeting (ASEM) Summit as the host country, and is willing to work with Italy to jointly promote the peace, security, development, prosperity and cooperation in the Eurasian continent.
