Li Keqiang Leaves Beijing for His Visits to Germany, Russia, Italy and the UN Food and Agricultural Organization (FAO) Headquarters and Attendance at the 10th Asia-Europe Meeting (ASEM) Summit

At noon on October 9, 2014, at the invitations of Chancellor Angela Merkel of the Federal Republic of Germany, Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev of the Russian Federation and Prime Minister Matteo Renzi of the Republic of Italy, Premier Li Keqiang left Beijing by special plane for Germany to host the 3rd round of China-Germany Intergovernmental Consultations and pay an official visit to Germany, pay an official visit to Russia and hold the19th regular meeting between Chinese and Russian prime ministers as well as pay an official visit to Italy. At the invitation of Director-General José Graziano da Silva of the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO), President Herman Van Rompuy of the European Council, Prime Minister Matteo Renzi of Italy and President José Manuel Barroso of the European Commission, Li Keqiang will visit the headquarters of the FAO in Rome and attend the 10th Asia-Europe Meeting (ASEM) Summit and relevant activities to be held in Milan.
