Foreign Minister Wang Yi Meets with National Coordinators from 16 Central and Eastern European (CEE) Countries Attending the Third National Coordinators' Meeting of China-CEE Cooperation

On May 13, 2014, Foreign Minister Wang Yi met at the Diaoyutai State Guesthouse with national coordinators and representatives from 16 Central and Eastern European (CEE) countries who attended the third National Coordinators' Meeting of China-CEE Cooperation.

Wang Yi said that both China and CEE countries adhere to the principle that all countries, big or small, should be equal, and both are committed to the revitalization of national economy. Strengthening cooperation conforms to the interests of all parties and complies with the trend of the times. We should integrate cooperation with the development strategies and process of respective countries, with the overall development of China-Europe relations and with the initiatives of major international cooperation such as Silk Road economic belt and 21st-century maritime Silk Road, and promote cooperation for more practical achievements, so as to further benefit peoples from all countries.

All national coordinators positively commented on the China-CEE cooperation, stressed that the cooperation is entirely of mutual benefit and win-win results, and believed that the cooperation will achieve greater development and better serve their respective development.
