All Foreign Travelers From Barbados and Saint Vincent and the Grenadines to China Required to Bear a Negative Result of Nucleic Acid Test for COVID-19

In accordance with the announcement of the Civil Aviation Administration of China, the General Administration of Customs of China and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs dated 20 July 2020, all foreign travelers who are to fly from Barbados and Saint Vincent and the Grenadines to China will be required to bear a negative result of nucleic acid test for COVID-19 and apply for certified Health Declaration Form. The following procedures are for your reference:

1.Starting from 0:00, 9 September 2020, passengers who are to fly to China from Barbados and Saint Vincent and the Grenadines indirectly, will be required to bear a negative result of nucleic acid test for COVID-19 within 72 hours before boarding. At this stage, the Chinese Embassy designates Best-dos Santos Public Health Laboratory to carry out the test for the passengers start from Barbados. Passengers from Saint Vincent and the Grenadines can choose local institution which is qualified to carry out the test.

2.Passengers shall fill in and sign the Health Declaration Form (please see the attachment) and are required to send a scanned copy of the signed Form (photos are not acceptable) , together with the negative Nucleic Acid Test Certificate, and a photocopy of the bio-page of the passport to the Embassy of the People's Republic of China in Barbados at the following email addresses: consulate_brb@mfa.gov.cn.

To speed up the process, please use "Nationality + Full Name + Transfering Countries + City of Entry in China" as subject line of your email, e.g. "Barbados+Lim Smith+London+Beijing".

3. Certified Health Declaration Form (with the official seal of the Embassy) with a validity period of 72 hours starting from the date of issue of the negative Nucleic Acid Test Certificate shall be issued by the Chinese Embassy in Barbados and sent back to the passenger by email. Passenger shall be required to present the print-out certified Health Declaration Form within the validity period of 72 hours during check-in or before in-transit boarding the flight bound for China and cooperate with airlines staff during the inspection. Please be noted that passenger with expired Health Declaration Form will not be allowed to board the plane and will be required to take nucleic acid tests and apply for the Health Declaration Form again.

4. Passenger is advised to bring the negative Nucleic Acid Test Certificate to the airport in case of the need for further inspection.

5. Please also be noted that a certified Health Declaration Form is not an alternative to a Chinese visa.
